On Performance of Intelligent Reflecting Surface Aided Wireless Powered IoT Network With HIs

Intelligent reflecting surface (IRS) is envisioned as a key technology for the next-generation wireless communication systems that enhances coverage and performance by reconfiguring propagation environment. In this letter, of an IRS-aided wireless-powered internet-of-things (IoT) network over Rayleigh fading channels investigated consists power station, IRS, access point, IoT devices. particular, impact transceiver hardware impairments (HIs) considered. An node selection strategy adopted maximizes harvested energy improves system performance. The closed-form expressions outage probability (OP), ergodic capacity, symbol error rate are derived using Gaussian Chebyshev Quadrature method. Further, asymptotic OP capacity diversity order considered obtained. HIs, overall ceiling effect, devices, elements, various parameters on highlighted. Finally, Monte-Carlo simulations performed to verify expressions.
